What is the function of the current protection function of the mixer

A blender is a common small appliance in the kitchen. Its main function is to mix and stir ingredients through high-speed rotating blades, and is used to make various foods and beverages. During use, the motor of the blender will be subjected to different degrees of load. If the motor is subjected to too much load, it will cause excessive current, which may damage the motor or other circuit components, and even cause safety hazards. In order to protect the circuit and motor of the blender, many blenders are equipped with a current protection function.

The current protection function refers to the circuit design inside the blender, which can monitor and control the current of the motor. When the current exceeds the set safety range, the current protection function will automatically cut off the power supply to prevent damage to the equipment or danger. The current protection function usually includes two forms: overcurrent protection and short-circuit protection.

The overcurrent protection function monitors the current of the motor through a built-in sensor. When the current exceeds the set threshold, the protection function will immediately cut off the power supply and stop the operation of the motor to avoid damage to the motor. The overcurrent protection function can respond in time when the motor is subjected to abnormal load to protect the safety of the circuit and motor.

The short-circuit protection function can detect short circuits in the circuit. Once a short circuit is found, the protection function will quickly cut off the power supply to prevent damage to the circuit or danger. The short-circuit protection function is usually implemented using components such as fuses or circuit breakers, which can effectively protect the safety of equipment and users.
